The Meze Empyrean II embodies the perfect fusion of premium craftsmanship and advanced acoustic engineering. Developed in collaboration with Rinaro Isodynamics, this open-back, over-ear headphone utilizes the patented Isodynamic Hybrid Array® driver technology to deliver exceptional sound accuracy, with a more neutral signature than the original while preserving its signature “easy to listen to” character.

Innovative driver technology
Its MZ3 ovoid driver, weighing only 82 g, features an ultra-thin 4,650 mm² Rinaro Isoplanar® diaphragm capable of reproducing frequencies from 8 Hz to 110 kHz with total harmonic distortion below 0.05%. The hybrid arrangement of neodymium magnets creates a uniform isodynamic magnetic field across the entire diaphragm surface, ensuring accurate and consistent sound reproduction.

Ergonomic design and premium materials
A fiberglass-reinforced ABS frame ensures both strength and lightness, while the carbon fiber and leather headband provides optimal pressure distribution. Isomagnetic® technology uses the driver’s magnetic field to securely attach the earpads, allowing quick changes while improving driver efficiency.

Two sets of earpads for tailored sound
The Empyrean II comes with two earpad options: Duo pads, combining genuine leather and Alcantara® for strong bass and refined highs, and Angled Alcantara® pads, offering an airy soundstage and precise midrange. This dual configuration lets the listener fine-tune the audio profile to match personal preferences.
