Description

Seamlessly integrate your smart TV or projector with 7 dedicated 8K HDMI inputs that support 8K/60 Hz or 4K/120 Hz passthrough, ARC (Anthem Genesis Room Correction), HDMI 2.1, HDCP 2.3 and a dedicated output with eARC. Its computer-assisted calibration system ensures optimal listening every time, while its network connection allows music streaming from multiple devices with AirPlay 2 and Chromecast, multi-room listening and access to Spotify Connect.

Dolby Atmos and DTS:X

The Anthem AVM 70 home theater preamp adopts carefully selected and oversized components to lower distortion and improve musicality. These are combined with an audio processor in charge of decoding many audio formats, including the latest ones like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. It can decode and pre-amplify up to 15.2 channels, making it easy to design the home theater system of your choice.

UHD 8K HDR
The video section of the Anthem AVM 70 preamp consists of seven HDMI inputs and three outputs. All of them comply with the 2.1 standard and support the HDCP 2.3 copy protection standard to ensure compatibility with the latest sources. All inputs and outputs are compatible with 8K video streams at up to 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz and 4:4:4 color encoding. Support for HDR and Dolby Vision programs is also included for extended dynamic range and maximum detail in both dark and light areas of a scene. Finally, the main HDMI output of the Anthem AVM 70 home theater processor is eARC compatible to retrieve Dolby Atmos soundtracks. The other two outputs maximize its versatility by allowing it to be associated with a second TV or 8K projector.

 
Anthem Auto Calibration
The Anthem AVM 70 home theater processor features the latest generation of ARC Genesis (Anthem Room Correction) self-calibration. ARC Genesis transforms the audio performance of compatible speakers or electronics while retaining the unique character of any room. Proprietary Digital Signal Processing (DSP) software works in tandem with a calibrated microphone to provide astonishing improvements to the sound you hear. You can thus enjoy a listening experience that is always optimal whether in hi-fi or in home cinema.

Streaming HD
With its dual WiFi and Ethernet network controller, the Anthem AVM 70 home theater processor connects easily to the Internet and local network. Streaming music from a smartphone, tablet or computer is then greatly facilitated with support for Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast. Spotify Connect is also required to access music from the streaming service, while compatibility with Roon (coming soon) will allow listening to music shared on the local network up to 24 bits / 192 kHz. Finally, music can also be streamed via Bluetooth from any compatible device.

Connectivity
In addition to its numerous HDMI inputs and outputs, the Anthem AVM 70 home theater processor benefits from a complete connectivity to easily associate all your sources. There are four analog RCA inputs, including a phono input. Five digital inputs - three optical and two coaxial - are also available. On the output side, the Anthem AVM 70 preamp offers a choice between an unbalanced RCA or balanced XLR 15.2 section. It can thus be easily associated with any power amplifier. Finally, three trigger outputs are also available to switch on sources or power amplifiers at the same time as the Anthem AVM 70.
