The Powernode Edge uses a new closed-loop DirectDigital amplification platform designed to efficiently deliver a conservatively-rated 2 x 40 watts of power to most entry-level audiophile speakers. It deftly handles hi-res audio files up to 24-bit/192 kHz, delivering clarity in even the most densely-layered heavy metal tracks or whisper-quiet dialogue of your favorite movies and TV shows, gripping you like nothing you have heard before. Fully decode MQA files to enjoy the actual studio masters of your favorite albums, as they were intended to be heard. 

Edgy versatility

Designed with versatility in mind, the uniquely sleek Powernode Edge is a masterpiece of minimalism, with a compact form factor that suits any décor. For those who prefer their HiFi out of sight, it is equally comfortable mounted to walls and ceilings in hard-to-reach areas, as it is in a smart home equipment rack. It comes equipped with a mounting bracket that swivels to allow 360 degree orientation of cabling, and its 1U rack height and half-rack width makes it easy to fit into smart home installations. Its beveled front hosts convenient touch panel controls for easy-access set-up and configuration, even in tight spaces.

Like other Bluesound products, the Powernode Edge offers an array of ways to connect to your music. Access over 20 natively-integrated music services including Tidal, Spotify, Qobuz, and Deezer, as well as thousands of internet radio stations from around the globe, all through the BluOS Controller app for iOS, Android, and Macs or PCs. Those who have music libraries can tap into network-connected storage via WiFi or Ethernet, or play tracks directly from a USB-A memory key. Apple users can cast audio from their devices or from iTunes using AirPlay 2, while those with other devices can use the high resolution aptX HD Bluetooth connection. Audio from TVs and laptops can be wired through the HDMI eARC input, and traditional sources like CD players and pre-amp'd turntables can connect using the combo analog/digital input.

Sprinkle as many as 63 other Bluesound players around the home for a wireless hi-res multiroom audio system. Send music from player to player as you move through the house, or sync up multiple players to one stream for parties and gatherings.

Control is always at your fingertips via the BluOS Controller app for iOS, Android, Mac, or PC, or using the elegant glass-top capacitive touch panel for quick-access controls like Play, Pause, and Volume Up/Down. The Powernode Edge can integrate with the most popular smart home controllers like Crestron, Control4, URC, RTI, ELAN, and others, while hands-free control is possible with voice assistants like Siri, Alexa, and Google.
