It features the same striking design, crafted from premium materials, and built to the same exacting standards. Evo CD extracts every musical nuance from your discs and seamlessly transfers it to Evo, bringing your CD collection into the hi-fi evolution.

Evo CD is powered by Cambridge Audio's latest S5 Servo, an enhancement of the renowned S3 used in the CXC. This upgrade offers improved speed accuracy and better retrieval of musical data. Unlike generic disc drives, Evo CD is a custom-engineered device designed solely for playing audio CDs with unparalleled precision.

Crafted for Performance
The anodized aluminum casing of Evo CD not only complements Evo’s design but also enhances its performance. The acoustically dampened metal chassis and drive tray ensure that the signal remains unaltered as it passes through Evo’s Digital to Analogue Converter via its bespoke ‘Evo Link’ output cable.

Minimalist Functionality
Evo CD is focused solely on playing discs, delivering precise musical information to Evo, allowing for a minimalist design with just one button on the front to open/close the metal CD tray. All other functions are controlled through Evo’s remote or the StreamMagic app on your smart device. CD album artwork and track details are beautifully displayed on Evo’s 6.8-inch color screen.
