High-Performance QCC5125 + XU316 Combo
At its core, the BTR15 integrates two high-performance chips: the Qualcomm QCC5125 and XMOS XU316. Together, they ensure smooth handling of Hi-Res formats in both Bluetooth and USB DAC modes. The QCC5125 supports wireless streaming up to LDAC at 96kHz/24bit, while the XU316 handles asynchronous playback up to 384kHz/32bit PCM and native DSD256 when connected via USB. This dual-core architecture guarantees maximum flexibility and consistent premium sound quality across every use case.

Three Modes with One Click
The BTR15 offers three optimized operating modes, accessible with a single button:

- PC Mode: Functions as a USB DAC, powered directly by your computer.

- BT Mode: Operates as a Bluetooth receiver/DAC/amp, powered by the internal battery (charging available via USB).

- Phone Mode: Works as a USB DAC dongle for smartphones, powered by its internal battery.

This smart design allows seamless switching between scenarios while ensuring pristine sound quality.

Global Parametric EQ (PEQ)
Thanks to FiiO’s proprietary parametric equalizer, the BTR15 gives users full control over frequency, gain, and bandwidth in every mode. In Bluetooth mode, the PEQ is powered by the QCC5125 DSP with support for LDAC and major codecs. In PC/Phone mode, adjustments are processed by the XMOS XU316, supporting resolutions up to PCM 384kHz. With this powerful feature, listeners can fine-tune the audio output to perfectly match any headphones or personal preferences.

OLED Display and Dual-Curved Glass Design
The BTR15 features a 0.96-inch OLED screen that clearly displays codec, sampling rate, levels, and device status, with large readable fonts for enhanced visibility. Its hot-bent dual curved glass panels on the front and rear enhance handling comfort while creating a sleek, modern 3D appearance. Combined with its aluminum alloy frame, this design makes the BTR15 not only highly functional but also stylish and durable. The BTR15 incorporates dual ES9219MQ DACs with an independent power supply for the amplifier stage, providing a cleaner signal and improved driving capability. Its balanced 4.4mm output delivers up to 340mW at 32Ω, while the 3.5mm output benefits from a parallel connection layout to produce greater power, ensuring efficient performance for both low- and high-impedance headphones. This dual-output architecture guarantees broad compatibility without compromising sound quality.

Comprehensive Battery Protection and Smart Connectivity
Powered by a 550mAh lithium-ion battery resistant to high temperatures, the BTR15 offers up to 8 hours of playback. An intelligent protection system monitors thermal conditions, manages charging dynamically, and allows operation directly from the computer in USB DAC mode to prevent degradation. It also supports FiiO’s app control for adjusting audio settings, codec priority, and firmware updates via OTA.
