Qualcomm QCC5181 Bluetooth Platform
At the heart of the BTR17 is Qualcomm’s latest flagship Bluetooth chip, the QCC5181. Supporting Bluetooth LE Audio and offering transmission bandwidth up to 2.1 Mbps, it enables aptX Lossless for true CD-quality wireless sound. Combined with support for LDAC, aptX Adaptive 96kHz/24bit, and Snapdragon Sound technologies, the BTR17 ensures a future-proof, premium wireless listening experience with unrivalled stability and fidelity.

Triple Mode & Patented Desktop Operation
The BTR17 features a practical PC/BT/PHONE three-mode switch for seamless adaptation to different use cases. In PC mode, it functions as a DAC powered entirely by computer. In Phone mode, it serves as a dongle DAC utilizing its internal battery to reduce smartphone power draw. In Bluetooth mode, it operates wirelessly with internal power and USB charging support. Unique to the BTR17 is its patented “Desktop Mode,” which leverages an independent power input for stable energy supply. When activated, it boosts power output up to 650mW+650mW balanced, matching desktop amplifier-level performance while protecting the internal battery from degradation.

Dual ES9069Q DACs and THX Amplification
Inside the BTR17 resides dual ESS ES9069Q flagship DACs based on the 32-bit HyperStream architecture. With dynamic range up to 130dB and total harmonic distortion as low as -120dB, these DACs deliver pristine, natural sound with enhanced musicality. Complementing this are four THX AAA 78+ amplifier modules arranged in a fully balanced four-channel configuration. This architecture minimizes distortion while maximizing driving capability, achieving powerful yet controlled audio performance comparable to larger, dedicated headphone amplifiers.

For user interaction, a 1.3-inch color IPS screen displays comprehensive information with dynamic color-coded formats, supported by an intuitive new UI.
