The FiiO K17 is the evolution of the award-winning K9 Pro, designed to bring unprecedented power, flexibility, and refinement to the desktop HiFi landscape. Discrete Class AB Amplification, Extreme Output Power
At the heart of the K17’s amplifier stage lies a discrete OP+transistor Class AB design, using the trusted ON Semiconductor MJE243/253 pair. With low output impedance and high current delivery, the K17 achieves up to 4000 mW + 4000 mW balanced output power — nearly double that of the K9 Pro ESS. This guarantees the capability to drive anything from sensitive IEMs to demanding full-size headphones, producing sound that is smooth, dynamic, and natural.

Dual AKM Flagship DACs with Velvet Sound
The K17 houses the flagship AKM combination of AK4191 + dual AK4499EX DACs. Each channel is independently handled by an AK4499EX, supported by a low-pass filter design reducing common-mode interference for maximum channel separation and dynamic range. With AKM’s latest VELVET SOUND technology and new-generation DWA ROUTING, the K17 captures fine detail while maintaining a quiet, natural audio background.

High-Precision DSP and Advanced PEQ
The dedicated M21586Q DSP runs 64-bit floating-point at 360MHz, paired with the ES9821Q ADC and ultra-low phase noise oscillators, enabling a 31-band high-precision, lossless parametric EQ. With FiiO’s proprietary algorithms and DEL (Dual Engine Limiter) technology, the PEQ provides dynamic range expansion/compression, limiter, and compressor functions, all while preserving high fidelity. EQ settings can be finely tuned (gain ±12 to -24 dB, bandwidth adjustment, Q range up to 128), and easily exported, shared, or imported, enabling precise tuning of any headphone response.

Precision Power Supply and Clean Signal Integrity
The K17 employs a 35W low-noise linear transformer, supported by five large 4700µF capacitors for energy reserves, independent analog/digital power lines, and multi-stage regulation with TPA7A47/7A33 LDOs for clean, stable operation.
Physically separated boards for power, digital, and analog circuitry avoid interference and ensure accuracy. Combined with 3 Accusilicon femtosecond ultra-low-jitter oscillators, the K17 maintains exact timing and drastically reduces phase noise for faithful reproduction across all sampling rates.

Premium Components for Superior Sound
From Panasonic film capacitors, ELNA MILIC II and RA3 capacitors, Nichicon audio capacitors, to Beryl solid capacitors with ultra-low ESR, every component is chosen for maximum stability and sonic fidelity. Internal signal transmission uses silver-plated OFC wiring, and external connections benefit from Neutrik gold-plated terminals for durability and precision.

Elegant Design, Advanced Controls
The K17 blends retro curves with modern lines for a distinctive design that pairs aesthetics with practicality. A custom 3.93-inch LCD touchscreen, five rotary knobs, and an included infrared remote control provide multiple control methods. Users can adjust PEQ, gain, inputs/outputs, or playback directly via touch, physical controls, or software through the FiiO Control app. Heat dissipation is managed by a high-efficiency grid structure.

Connectivity and Versatility
The K17 features USB, optical, coaxial, Ethernet, streaming, Wi-Fi (2.4G/5G), and Bluetooth inputs. Local playback from USB drives is supported, in addition to network playback via Roon (in certification) or AirPlay. Flexible multi-output usage scenarios include headphone driving, pre-amplifier mode, active speaker connection, or DAC integration.

Intelligent Protection and Reliability
