The FiiO M21 redefines the entry-level music player by inheriting flagship-grade DNA. Powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 680 6nm SoC paired with optimized Android 13, and equipped with a quad DAC architecture (CS43198 × 4), the M21 delivers performance that surpasses its class. With its 4.7-inch HD screen, strong amplification power, and retro-inspired design, it sets a new benchmark for compact Hi-Res digital audio players.

Quad DAC CS43198 & Fully Balanced Amplification
The M21 employs four CS43198 DACs in an 8-channel fully differential output design. This allows for better dynamics, reduced crosstalk, and superb noise rejection. The headphone amplifier section features a two-stage circuit — the first stage dedicated to voltage amplification, the second to current expansion — ensuring purer, more detailed output. Power reaches up to 950 mW (32Ω balanced, Super High Gain mode), delivering desktop-class drive capability in a portable form.

Patented Desktop Mode – Dual Power Supply
For the first time in this category, the M21 supports FiiO’s patented Desktop Mode (ZL202321946664.8). When enabled, the player is entirely powered by an external power supply, with the internal battery neither charging nor discharging — preventing battery degradation during extended desk use. In portable mode it uses standard internal supply, while in desktop mode it switches to high-voltage rails (21 Vpp, 950 mW balanced) for massive output power.

Retro Walkman-Inspired Design & Premium Build
The M21 comes paired with an optional cassette-style protective case, alongside a special retro UI and vintage sound effects for nostalgic playback. Remove the case, and it seamlessly returns to the normal Android interface. The aluminum alloy chassis with AG frosted glass back ensures both durability and a refined hand feel. Digital and analog sections are partitioned with independent shielding, reducing interference while improving thermal performance.

Refined Power & Precision Engineering
The M21’s circuits feature separate power paths for digital and analog stages, with multiple independent sub-supplies for DAC and amplifier components. High-precision thin-film resistors and tantalum capacitors ensure stable frequency response and consistent channel matching. Driving timing accuracy are a 5th-gen FPGA and dual custom femtosecond crystal oscillators, minimizing jitter and guaranteeing precise synchronization for PCM and DSD signals.

Connectivity & Battery Life
The M21 supports 3.5 mm single-ended and 4.4 mm balanced outputs, both configurable as headphone or line outputs, along with a low-jitter SPDIF coaxial output that reduces jitter by 70%, approaching professional-grade digital interfaces. USB-C audio output also allows direct connection to external DACs.

Its 4000 mAh high-voltage battery provides up to 15 hours of single-ended use (12.5 hours balanced) and supports 20W PD fast charging. Wireless connectivity is equally robust with Bluetooth 5.0 bidirectional transmission (SBC, AAC, aptX/HD, LDAC, LHDC) for both playback and reception.

Full Android + Audiophile Features
Running Android 13 with Snapdragon 680, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage (expandable to 2 TB via microSD), the M21 delivers a smooth, modern experience with support for streaming apps.
