The WARMER R2R is a high-end desktop DAC and tube amplifier designed to deliver a rich, warm sound signature. Combining a fully differential 24-bit R2R resistor array DAC with four vacuum tubes, dual-channel mechanical VU meters, and versatile inputs and outputs, it provides both exceptional sonic fidelity and visual enjoyment. Flexible connectivity for any system
With USB, optical, and coaxial inputs, the WARMER R2R can connect to phones, computers, digital music players, CD players, and other sources, easily switching between them via a dedicated knob. RCA and XLR line outputs allow simultaneous connection to speakers, amplifiers, external DACs, or headphone amplifiers, providing broad compatibility for any setup.

Fully differential 24-bit R2R DAC
At the core of the WARMER R2R is FiiO’s proprietary four-channel, fully differential 24-bit R2R DAC. Each channel uses 48 high-precision thin-film resistors, totaling 192 resistors with 0.1% accuracy and a low drift of 30 ppm. Two ES9068AS DAC chips process left and right channels independently, refining core sound quality and delivering a captivating and highly detailed musical presentation.

Tube amplification for a warm, organic sound
The tube buffer stage is powered by four JJ Electronic E88CC tubes imported from Slovakia, supplied with ±28V power and rated for up to 10,000 hours of service life. Optimized circuitry imparts a sweet, organic tube character, giving music richness, depth, and warmth, creating an immersive and emotionally engaging listening experience.

Retro mechanical VU meters and clean linear power
The WARMER R2R features extra-large, dual-channel LED-backlit mechanical VU meters, driven by a dedicated IC, which move in harmony with the music. Powering the device is a 46W low-noise, low-ripple toroidal linear power supply, providing clean, consistent energy. The toroidal transformer core design ensures efficiency, low eddy current loss, and minimal magnetic leakage, supporting pristine sound reproduction.

NOS and OS modes for tailored playback
NOS (non-oversampling) mode: decodes audio while preserving the original sample rate for a pure, unaltered sound.
OS (oversampling) mode: globally upscales to 384 kHz for more detailed, transparent audio.

These modes allow the listener to choose between authentic original audio or high-resolution enhanced playback.

Practical design and broad compatibility
The WARMER R2R features a classic square-and-round minimalist design, blending vintage aesthetics with functional modernity. Its grille pattern allows for efficient heat dissipation, ensuring stable high-quality audio over years of use. The independent Type-C port allows simultaneous charging and use via an adapter, while UAC 1.0/2.0 support ensures compatibility with a variety of digital sources.
