Description

Vestia Center combines Focal technologies, such as the Slatefiber cone made of recycled carbon fiber in Focal's French workshops, and the TAM tweeter with inverted dome and "M" profile that reinforces the high frequencies. The slanted base supplied with the speaker allows for an even more immersive sound stage.

Slatefiber cone

Slatefiber technology - exclusive to Focal and manufactured in France - consists of the use of non-woven recycled carbon fibers inserted between two layers of thermoplastic polymer. In search of perfection, Focal engineers chose to use non-woven carbon fibers all oriented in the same direction to obtain even more rigidity, improved damping but also lightness, the three "essentials" of a good speaker.

TAM inverted dome tweeter with "M" profile

Again designed in France in Focal's workshops, this tweeter is made of an inverted dome cone, of an Aluminum/Magnesium alloy, to which is conferred the famous "M" profile, characteristic of Focal. This design gives it greater rigidity, reducing distortion, and a wider diffusion angle. It allows for ever more refined highs.
