The Stylus Green4 is the replacement stylus at the Green level of Grado's Prestige series, handcrafted in Brooklyn. It uses a bonded elliptical diamond for consistent contact with the record groove walls, a three-piece OTL (Open Transmission Line) cantilever, and a brass mounting bracket. Grado recommends a tracking force of 1.5 g (usable range 1.0 to 2.0 g), set precisely on the turntable.

Prestige Series Cross-Compatibility and Replacement

All current Grado Prestige series styli are interchangeable with each other and with every Prestige cartridge body, so the Stylus Green4 can replace a worn Green4 stylus, move a Black4 body up to Green4 level, or serve as a more affordable spare stylus on a higher-tier Prestige body. Replacement is done by hand: the stylus assembly pulls off the body and a new one presses back into place, without disassembly and without re-aligning the cartridge on the tonearm.
