The GAIA Neo Carpet Disks form a rigid bridge between your isolators and the solid subfloor beneath, so soft flooring no longer compromises the isolation system.

Engineering and construction

Each disk is machined from solid stainless steel. Four 0.6-inch (15 mm) metal spikes on the underside pierce through carpet fibers and padding to make direct contact with the floor. The top surface is precisely shaped to cradle the matching GAIA Neo isolation foot, preventing any lateral shift.

What type of carpet should these carpet disks be used for?

They're recommended for thick pile carpets or carpets with a dense foam underpad. They're optional on very thin commercial carpet.

Can I move my floorstanding speakers while the carpet disks are installed?

Remove the disks first. Tilt the cabinet to one side to slide them out, then put a protective cloth or furniture sliders under the GAIA Neo feet to move the speaker across the floor.

Will these carpet spikes work if my listening room carpet is exceptionally thick?

Yes. Under the weight of most floorstanding speakers, the carpet compresses enough for the 0.6-inch spikes to reach the solid floor. Even when they don't, the disks still give the GAIA Neo a much broader, more stable platform than the carpet alone.
