Pro-Ject Analog Starter Kit - NEW

Description

A complete maintenance solution

Analog playback demands mechanical precision and clean surfaces. The Pro-Ject Analog Starter Kit gathers six dedicated maintenance tools in a single package, ensuring that both the turntable and the vinyl records perform optimally and last longer. Rather than sourcing individual accessories, this kit provides everything you need to care for analog equipment, from platter leveling to stylus cleaning. It is an ideal starting point for a new analog setup or a comprehensive refresh for an existing system — and a perfect gift for a vinyl enthusiast.

Dedicated record and stylus care

Surface dust and static electricity are the primary causes of surface noise during playback. The Brush it Premium uses conductive carbon fibers in a metal chassis to sweep away debris while discharging static build-up on the vinyl. For the cartridge, the Clean it stylus brush uses carbon fibers to safely remove dust from the diamond tip, preserving tracking accuracy and extending the life of both the stylus and the record grooves. A high-tech microfibre Cloth it rounds out this set for general cleaning tasks (records, dust cover, turntable chassis).

Mechanical stability and resonance control

A turntable must sit perfectly flat to maintain correct tonearm geometry and consistent groove tracking. The Level it spirit level allows for precise plinth leveling. During playback, the aluminium Clamp it record weight tightly couples the record to the platter, flattening minor warps and reducing unwanted acoustic resonances that can muddy the audio signal. Finally, the high-tech Lube it bearing lubricant ensures the platter bearing remains well oiled, maintaining smooth rotation and low friction over years of use to prevent premature mechanical wear.

The six essential Pro-Ject accessories, in one box

The Analog Starter Kit is designed as a matched set: each tool addresses a specific aspect of the analog playback process, and together they cover every facet of daily maintenance. This holistic approach lets the listener focus on the music rather than the logistics of accessory shopping. Compatible with all turntables on the market, not just Pro-Ject models.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How does the Clamp it improve audio quality?

Unwanted vibrations and minor record warps can translate into muddy audio and tracking issues for the stylus. The aluminium Clamp it tightly couples the vinyl record to the platter, flattening warps and effectively reducing acoustic resonances. This mechanical stabilization lets the stylus track the groove with greater precision, resulting in a more stable stereo image and preserved detail — especially audible on slightly warped records.

Can the Brush it Premium really remove static from records?

Yes. The Brush it Premium features a metal construction and conductive carbon fibers designed specifically for earthing the static charge. As you brush the record before playback, it not only sweeps away physical dust but also discharges the static electricity that attracts it. The result: fewer surface clicks and less dust re-settling on the record between listening sessions.

Does the kit offer real savings over buying each accessory individually?

Yes, substantially. The six included accessories are all available individually and, added up at retail, they exceed the kit's price by a wide margin. The aluminium Clamp it and the metal-chassis Brush it Premium alone are two accessories of significant individual value. Choosing the kit lets you access the full Pro-Ject maintenance tool set at a better overall price, in a coordinated package ready to gift.

Is this a good gift for a turntable owner?

Yes. The Analog Starter Kit is an ideal premium gift for a vinyl enthusiast, whether they just received their first turntable or have owned a deck for years without ever investing in maintenance accessories. The coordinated six-piece Pro-Ject presentation makes it a memorable gift that will actively extend the life of their equipment and records for years to come.
