The Rega Ania Pro is the latest evolution in Rega’s moving coil (MC) cartridge range, equipped with an advanced Vital profile nude diamond stylus. This highly precise profile is engineered to extract maximum information from the vinyl groove, delivering tight and controlled bass, warm and natural midrange, and accurate high-frequency reproduction. Precision-engineered construction
At the heart of the Ania Pro lies Rega’s hand-wound micro coil assembly, housed within a PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) polymer body reinforced with 40% glass for exceptional rigidity and dimensional stability. This lightweight, highly stable structure ensures precise alignment and eliminates unwanted resonances. Rega’s signature three-point fixing system guarantees secure mounting, optimised geometry, and automatic overhang alignment, ensuring straightforward installation and consistent performance.

High-powered magnetic system
The cartridge employs a miniature iron micro cross armature, combined with an ultra-high-powered neodymium magnet. The ultra-fine 0.018 mm coil wire is meticulously hand wound, allowing for a low-mass generator assembly capable of tracking vinyl grooves with extreme accuracy. This system achieves an outstanding balance between speed, dynamics, and tonal clarity, enabling the cartridge to reveal micro-details and textures often hidden in recordings.

Protective and practical design
The Ania Pro features a CAD-designed red protective cover which shields the internal coil wiring during handling and installation, ensuring both safety and reliability. Moulded from PPS with precision Swiss CNC and EDM processes, the cartridge body requires an eight-part high-pressure injection tool, developed over the course of a year by master toolmakers. This ensures dimensional tolerances accurate to within a micron, critical for maintaining alignment between the pivot pad and magnet mechanism. This extreme precision translates directly into superior sound reproduction.
