Innovation and Design 
The reference Aura MC stage is the culmination of decades of electronic design development. We've created the ultimate, fully adjustable, three-stage, all-symmetrical pre-amplifier designed purely to extract the very best performance from your moving coil cartridge and vinyl playback system. Housed in a completely redesigned custom case, the Aura is dedicated to moving coil cartridges and steers clear of any compromises. We've avoided including superfluous functions as they obstruct the signal path and degrade sound quality. 

Advanced Technical Architecture 
The first stage is a symmetrical, complementary Class-A amplifier, using parallel-connected Linear Systems ultra-low-noise FET (Field Effect Transistor) transistors. This ensures no bias current flows into the cartridge coil, which would disrupt its delicate magnetic geometry. The second stage is a symmetrical, Class-A, differential amplifier with a common base driver, also used in the RIAA equalization stage. The third stage inverts the signal to provide a balanced output. To maximize headroom, the Aura has a power supply voltage that's 60% higher than is typically found in such pre-amplifiers. Very high-quality polypropylene capacitors are used in the signal path, with 1% tolerance capacitors in the RIAA EQ stages.

Specifications and Adjustability 
The Aura MC is compatible with all typical low-output moving coil cartridges. It offers full adjustability with input load options of 50, 100, 150, 300, and 400 Ω, and a capacitive load of 1000, 2000, 3200, 4300, and 5700 pF. The gain settings are 69.5 dB (Gain Setting I) and 63.5 dB (Gain Setting II). Gain, Mute, and Mono switching are implemented using high-quality relays. With a THD of only 0.03%, the Aura guarantees exceptionally clear and accurate sound reproduction.
