A new era for the Brio amplifier
The Rega Brio MK7 represents the most advanced generation of Rega’s iconic integrated amplifier. Entirely redesigned around a newly re-laid circuit, the MK7 optimises performance while further reducing distortion. Built into a compact custom half-width aluminium chassis, it delivers 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 72 watts per channel into 4 ohms, ensuring ample power for even demanding loudspeakers. Every design element has been carefully refined, making the Brio MK7 a true benchmark in its class.

Advanced circuit design and improved isolation
At the heart of the MK7 is a newly upgraded PCB layout, engineered to meet higher specifications across all critical parts. A second raw power supply provides increased isolation between the output stage and the driver stage, as well as between the line and phono amplifiers. This separation reduces interference and distortion, allowing the amplifier to reproduce music with greater clarity and precision. High-specification MUSES operational amplifiers are now used throughout the line, DAC, and phono sections, elevating the overall sonic performance.

Integrated DAC and versatile connectivity
For the first time, the Brio incorporates a Rega-designed DAC with two digital inputs—coaxial and optical—supporting sampling rates up to 192 kHz. This ensures compatibility with a wide range of digital sources while maintaining Rega’s analogue purity. Alongside three analogue line inputs, the amplifier also features a dedicated moving magnet phono stage, designed with improved isolation and premium op-amps to extract every detail from vinyl playback.

Refined phono stage and vinyl excellence
Rega’s expertise in vinyl reproduction is embedded into the MK7 through its upgraded moving magnet phono stage. With optimised gain, low noise performance, and superior isolation, it provides a clean and dynamic signal path for turntables. The phono stage ensures that even subtle details in the groove are reproduced with exceptional accuracy, staying true to Rega’s analogue heritage.

Dedicated headphone output
The Brio MK7 includes a headphone circuit driven directly from the main amplifier stage. Designed to minimise impact on the main signal path, this output maintains the amplifier’s full sonic integrity while offering outstanding performance for private listening. Automatic speaker deactivation ensures seamless operation when headphones are connected.

Reliability, protection, and user-friendly features
Built for longevity and everyday use, the Brio MK7 includes short-circuit protection, thermal cut-out, and a new auto-standby function that activates after one hour of inactivity. These protections operate outside the audio path, preserving sound quality while safeguarding internal components. A custom mini-system remote is included, offering standby control and compatibility with future Rega products.
