Reference EBLT drive belt for ultimate precision
The Reference EBLT drive belt is a custom-made premium upgrade, designed to deliver the highest accuracy Rega has ever achieved. Fitted as standard to Planar 8 and Planar 10 turntables since March 8, 2021, it is also suitable for all other Rega turntables and highly recommended for the Planar 6 and any Planar 3 using the Rega Neo TT PSU. Each belt is molded using highly precise tooling with a unique secret monomer blend. After molding, the belts are cryogenically frozen and barrelled to remove any excess flash, creating perfect cross-sectional roundness critical for speed accuracy and stability. All Reference belts undergo a unique curing process to guarantee the highest achievable precision. Compared to previous models, they provide a 50% longer lifespan. Technical specifications include the use of Reference EBLT monomer, optimized diameter and cross-sectional roundness for improved stability and speed accuracy, an advanced curing process, and improved consistency in the material modulus for reliable, high-performance operation.
