The Rega Elicit MK5 is a stereo integrated amplifier designed to combine power, precision, and versatility. Built in Rega’s custom casework to match the rest of the range, the MK5 delivers an impressive 105 W per channel into 8 ohms, 127 W into 6 ohms, and 162 W into 4 ohms. Its Class A/B amplifier circuit, developed and refined over decades, provides the perfect balance of dynamics and control while remaining faithful to the original musical signal.

Advanced digital and analog integration
At the heart of the Elicit MK5 lies a newly designed Rega DAC circuit that ensures seamless connectivity with a wide variety of modern sources. Featuring two galvanically and optically isolated digital inputs—one coaxial and one optical—the MK5 maintains exceptional clarity and detail. A Wolfson DAC paired with a discrete Rega-designed line driver circuit ensures transparent reproduction of high-resolution formats up to 24-bit/192 kHz.

High-quality phono stage
Rega has equipped the Elicit MK5 with an integrated moving magnet (MM) phono stage designed for vinyl enthusiasts who demand precision and realism. Built using high-grade components including polypropylene capacitors and discrete circuitry, the phono section provides a clean, accurate signal path with minimal interference. RIAA equalization is carefully implemented to preserve tonal integrity across the full frequency range.

Refined pre-amplification and control
Borrowing design elements from the flagship Aethos amplifier, the Elicit MK5 incorporates a discrete FET-based pre-amplifier stage for ultra-low noise performance. An Alps volume potentiometer has been selected for its precision, ensuring smooth and accurate level control with long-term reliability. Together, these refinements elevate the MK5 into a class-leading integrated solution.

Comprehensive connectivity
The Elicit MK5 offers exceptional versatility with four line-level inputs, two digital inputs, a high-performance moving magnet phono stage, and a front-mounted headphone output. Additional connectivity includes Pre-Out, Direct In for integration with AV processors, and a dedicated Record input. This wide range of options ensures seamless integration into any high-fidelity system, whether digital or analog.

Protection and reliability
Engineered with longevity in mind, the Elicit MK5 features a thermal cut-out, DC protection, and short-circuit protection to safeguard against heat, excessive currents, or speaker faults.
