The Rega Isis is the company’s flagship CD player, built to the highest achievable standards inside and out. It features Rega’s unique CD technology and a custom solid anodised aluminium case weighing 19 kg. Designed with decades of hi-fi expertise, the Isis delivers exceptional reliability and sonic performance for the most demanding audiophiles.

Reference-level audio performance
The Isis uses discrete Class A operational amplifiers and filters optimised for sonic fidelity. Twin Burr Brown PCM1794 DACs run in parallel dual-mono mode, providing a wide dynamic range with extremely low distortion. The current-to-voltage conversion is fully balanced and routed to balanced analogue XLR outputs for uncompromised signal purity.

Advanced technology
The analogue section features its own dedicated 50 VA mains transformer and ten separate voltage regulators, ensuring isolation and a pure signal path. The digital section also has ten separate regulators and a dedicated 50 VA transformer, guaranteeing galvanic isolation and optimal data recovery from CDs via a high-performance digital servo and Rega-designed PLL.

USB and digital connectivity
A USB A-B input allows direct playback from a laptop or PC, supporting streaming of MP3, WMA, or internet radio files. The USB interface is double-clocked and fully isolated to eliminate interference and computer power supply noise.

Individual disc analysis
Each disc is analysed individually during initialisation, enabling the Isis to optimise reading for scratches or imperfections. This ensures reliable and accurate playback even on challenging discs.
