Description

A new reference in integrated amplification
The Rega Osiris represents the pinnacle of 32 years of solid-state amplifier development. This dual-mono, high-performance integrated amplifier delivers 162 W per channel into 8 Ω (250 W into 4 Ω) and is housed in a custom CNC-machined aluminium case. Every aspect of the Osiris has been engineered to offer maximum sonic clarity, precision, and reliability.

Minimalist circuit topology
Designed around a high-gain power amplifier with a passive pre-amplifier stage, the Osiris uses a single stage of amplification between input and speakers. This minimalist approach, combined with a passive volume control, ensures unrivalled purity, dynamic range, and resolution. The Osiris is a perfect partner for Rega’s reference components, including the Isis CDP, Valve Isis CDP, and Aura MC phono stage.

Advanced amplifier technology
The Osiris employs a low-distortion, high-linearity, common-base voltage amplifier driver stage with eight Sanken 200 W output transistors in a triple high-current configuration. Its cascoded differential input amplifier uses LED-referenced low-noise current generators, Nichicon audio-grade capacitors, and low-inductance film resistors for optimized performance. Open and closed loop feedback is fine-tuned for tight control and accurate soundstage reproduction.

Precision power supply
The dual low-noise 400 VA toroidal transformers, combined with 40,000 μF of K-Power smoothing capacitors per channel, supply ample current to drive demanding speakers. Each transformer is mounted using Rega’s anti-vibration technique, ensuring minimal mechanical interference. Dedicated regulated audio power supplies isolate the signal path from other electronics, maintaining the purest voltage for the amplifier circuits.

Connectivity and control
The Osiris includes four line inputs, one balanced XLR input, a record output, direct input option, and is operated via a reference CNC remote handset. All connections and circuits are designed to maximize audio fidelity while remaining intuitive to use.
