The RB880 reflects almost 40 years of Rega tonearm expertise, combining precision engineering with advanced design features for superior vinyl playback. Each unit is hand-assembled by skilled technicians to ensure consistent performance. The RB880 features a new aluminium vertical bearing housing, a redesigned stainless steel sleeve and vertical bearing shaft for improved mounting stability and overall rigidity. The advanced arm tube is engineered with intelligent mass redistribution to reduce points of resonance, ensuring precise, stable, and near-frictionless tracking. Technical specifications include a low effective mass of 11 g, a mounting distance of 222 mm from platter center to arm spindle, an effective length of 236.5 mm, an offset angle of 21.55°, and an overhang of 14.5 mm, providing optimal compatibility and maximum stability with high-end turntables.

Precision, stability, and connectivity
The RB880 achieves extreme stability thanks to high-precision hand-matched bearing assemblies that provide near-frictionless movement both horizontally and vertically, extracting maximum information from the record groove. The arm is supplied with Rega-made low-capacitance phono cables terminated with high-specification phono plugs, designed to minimize joints and preserve a clean signal path. The integrated arm clip and improved spring housing further enhance ease of use and secure cartridge mounting.

Refined arm tube engineering
The latest Rega arm tube has been completely redesigned to redistribute mass, reduce resonances, and increase stiffness and rigidity. CAD-optimized tapers blend multiple profiles to further improve stability, ensuring a highly accurate, smooth, and detailed musical performance.
