Saturn MK3 CD-DAC Player
The Saturn MK3 is housed in Rega’s latest case design, matching the rest of the range. It combines a high-quality CD transport and an independent DAC circuit, offering maximum flexibility and seamless integration into any audio system. Both sections are fully controllable via the supplied Solaris remote handset.

High-end digital conversion
The Saturn MK3 provides extensive connectivity up to 24-bit / 192 kHz. It features two optical inputs, two coaxial inputs, a fully asynchronous USB input, and a “direct” digital output from the CD section. This ensures perfect integration into any system and makes the Saturn MK3 an ideal partner for the forthcoming Rega Elicit MK5 integrated amplifier.

DAC and analog output technology
The Saturn MK3 uses dual Wolfson WM8742 digital-to-analog converters paired with proven analog output amplifier technology. The CD section power supply has been developed from Rega’s reference CD research, with an improved microcontroller and display drivers.

USB 192 kHz / 24-bit asynchronous input
The asynchronous USB input supports high-resolution files up to 192 kHz / 24-bit. Galvanic isolation, as found in the DAC-R, preserves signal integrity. Dedicated computer drivers enable full ASIO operation, eliminating signal degradation caused by generic Windows drivers.

Control and connectivity features
Digital signals are switched directly at the DAC stage to minimize the CD signal path. The supplied Solaris remote provides full control over both CD and DAC functions.
