This eight-channel amplifier provides 125 W per channel at 8 Ω across four independent zones, ensuring high-efficiency sound with exceptional clarity and control. Each output can handle a minimum impedance of 2.67 Ω, making it compatible with low-impedance architectural Sonos speakers while maintaining a damping factor greater than 400 for precise speaker control.

ProTune for precise audio optimization
Amp Multi’s ProTune feature allows installers to calibrate any passive speaker according to its exact placement and the room’s acoustics. ProTune includes a 10-band parametric equalizer with adjustable gain of ±15 dB, frequency control, and delay settings from 0 to 50 ms, as well as high- and low-shelf filter options. This level of customization ensures each speaker delivers balanced, high-fidelity sound tailored to the environment.

Flexible multi-zone configuration
Every output can be assigned to any zone, providing complete design flexibility. Users can switch sources, stream content, and manage audio across all zones seamlessly. With support for up to four simultaneous audio streams via Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, Apple AirPlay 2, or Spotify Connect, Amp Multi accommodates complex installations and high-demand multi-zone setups. Analog RCA inputs and USB-C audio inputs allow even greater integration, while the configurable subwoofer output ensures each zone achieves precise low-frequency control.

Advanced Class D amplification and RPF technology
The combination of GaN, Class D amplification, and post-filter feedback enables Amp Multi to deliver a signal-to-noise ratio of 114 dB and a total harmonic distortion of just 0.005 % between 2.83 VRMS and 15 VRMS. Its frequency response remains linear within ±0.5 dB from 15 Hz to 20 kHz, and channel separation reaches -100 dB at 1 kHz and -80 dB at 10 kHz, ensuring transparent, dynamic, and spatially accurate audio reproduction across all zones.

Simplified setup and intelligent monitoring
Installation is streamlined with front and rear LED indicators for device and output status, while ambient light sensors automatically adjust LED brightness. Amp Multi recognizes connected speakers automatically within the Sonos app, eliminating the need for PIN codes. Sonos speaker optimization allows each output to power up to three architectural Sonos speakers, applying custom DSP and EQ for a consistent, robust frequency response and smooth dynamic range across all outputs.

Compact, thermally optimized design
The Amp Multi chassis measures 64.5 mm high, 436.8 mm wide, and 265.2 mm deep, expanding to 82.3 mm high and 483 mm wide when installed in a 2U rack mount. Its thermally optimized, textured enclosure enhances durability and airflow without requiring fans, while its flat back and compact form factor simplify installation and reduce hardware needs. This design also accommodates energy-efficient operation, consuming only 5.4 W at idle and 180 W at 1/8 maximum output across all channels, contributing to long-term reliability.
