Description

Mono RCA Low-Level Cable for the LFE Output on an AV Receiver

The SW-SUB is a mono RCA cable built for the sub-out (LFE) output on an AV receiver or a preamplifier, feeding the LFE input of a powered subwoofer. 24 AWG 6N oxygen-free copper conductors and a low-density polyethylene dielectric limit signal loss and attenuation over the long runs typical in a living room. The dual shielding combines an aluminum/mylar foil and a copper braid to keep the long sub-out line from picking up hum from a nearby power circuit or a Wi-Fi source.

 

Built for a Clean Run and In-Wall Installation

The machined RCA plugs carry 24K gold-plated contacts and a closed collar for a firm mechanical grip on the RCA jack of a subwoofer. The PVC outer jacket is rated c(UL) FT4 for in-wall or in-ceiling installation under Canadian electrical code. Length options cover anything from a subwoofer placed right under the receiver to a subwoofer set up across the room.
