Torrent drivers

Torrent hand-assembled drivers feature machined precision craftsmanship and revolutionary magnetic technology. The proprietary magnetic design keeps the voice coil continuously immersed within the magnetic field for absolute and instant control of its every reaction. These woofers possess such wide and flat response that they remarkably require absolutely no active or passive crossover components. This radical technology offers an unadulterated flow of information and energy for substantial advantages in clarity, phase correctness, and striking accuracy both on and off axis.

The Metal V2 is equipped with the second generation of 7" Torrent woofers, precision-machined in-house with the exactness of a luxury watch and fine-tuned like a performance engine. Individual magnets positioned cylindrically around the motor structure keep the voice coil continuously immersed within the magnetic field for absolute and instant control of its every reaction. The design is a controlled ferocity that amazingly requires no crossover, channeling vast dynamic potential into pure musical experience.

The remarkable tweeter is the equal counterpoint to the powerhouse Torrent. The thick aluminum faceplate and finned aluminum body allow it to stay cool as it matches the torrid pace of the Torrent with clarity and openness at any volume setting. All this technology is housed in a spectacular cabinet with no parallel surfaces that eradicates distortion-causing interior standing waves.

Geometric cabinet design

Element enclosures are not built with the mass production method of the competition but with the artisanal attention of a master furniture craftsman. They taper towards the top and to the back, leaving no two sides parallel, thereby avoiding standing waves, minimizing cabinet resonances, and enrich clarity in the vital midrange band.

Platinum WBT Bi-Wire / Bi-Amp connectors and annealed aluminum plate

The ultimate WBT connectors with high conductivity are fitted onto an annealed aluminum plate that eliminates any potential resonance. These connectors prevent any signal loss and help get the most out of the entire system.

Articulated claw and skid plate

The unique claw can be adjusted to modify the angle of the cabinet for optimal bass loading, phase/space articulation, and fine tuning the relationship between the speaker and environment. An aluminum plate, including two formed feet at the base of the speaker, eliminates resonances between the floor and speaker enclosure, perfecting bass response and soundstage dimensions.
