The SGK8 Square Grille Kit is engineered to provide a refined cosmetic upgrade for Totem’s Kin Architectural in-ceiling speakers. Designed specifically for the Kin IC81 and IC82 models, it replaces the standard round grille with a square grille to visually match square fixtures, lighting layouts, or HVAC elements. This solution ensures architectural consistency without compromising acoustic performance.

Robust Magnetic Frame and Flush-Mount Compatibility
The SGK8 frame incorporates three high-strength neodymium magnets in each corner, securing the square grille firmly in place. Screw holes located at each corner allow for optional drywall mounting to create a tighter, flusher finish when required. The frame is installed before the speaker, ensuring a precise fit and alignment during integration.

Corrosion-Resistant, Paintable Stainless Steel Grille
Built from stainless steel, the SGK8 grille maintains structural integrity over time while resisting corrosion. Its micro-perforated surface provides uniform color coverage, and the grille is fully paintable to blend with any ceiling or wall design. The internal acoustic scrim cloth is removable and replaceable to support easy maintenance or customization.

Simple Installation Process
The frame is positioned and installed prior to speaker insertion. Once the speaker is secured using the dog ears, the grille aligns easily with the frame and attaches magnetically. Optional drywall screws may be used for additional mounting stability, especially in cases without a Totem Pre-Construction Kit.
