The WiiM Sub Pro is the subwoofer designed to complete the WiiM streaming lineup — without being locked into it. It links wirelessly to WiiM Amp Ultra, Amp Pro and other components via Wi-Fi 6E or Bluetooth 5.3 LE Audio for a perfect digital handshake — phase alignment and latency sync are handled automatically before the signal ever reaches the driver. This wireless architecture lets you place the 16 kg cabinet strictly by acoustic principles rather than by cable length.

250 W Class-D amplification and 8-inch driver

Inside the high-rigidity cabinet, a custom 8-inch woofer is driven by a 250 W Class-D amplification stage (THD ≤ 1%). Sensitivity: 104 dB SPL (1 W @ 1 m). The driver moves enough air to reach 25 Hz, with a ±3 dB response from 30 to 200 Hz. The massive cabinet acts as an inert mechanical ground, preventing parasitic vibrations from coloring the lower octaves. Transient speed for acoustic music, sustained authority for cinematic soundtracks.

Bass management from the WiiM Home app

No more imprecise rear-panel dials. The WiiM Sub Pro moves every setting into the WiiM Home app (iOS and Android). From your seat, adjust the crossover frequency, subwoofer level, phase and latency, and access a 10-band parametric EQ to fine-tune the blend with your main speakers while listening in real time.

Next-generation connectivity: Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 LE Audio

The WiiM Sub Pro packs tri-band Wi-Fi 6E (2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz) for a stable, low-latency, high-bandwidth link even in congested network environments. Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio adds compatibility with newer source devices. A 10/100 Ethernet jack allows a wired link where wireless isn't ideal. Regular OTA firmware updates periodically add new features and refinements.

Universal RCA compatibility

Although optimized for the WiiM ecosystem, the Sub Pro isn't locked into it. A dedicated mono RCA input lets it function as a conventional active subwoofer with any A/V receiver, integrated amplifier, or powered speaker pair that has a subwoofer output. Smart power management automatically detects the incoming signal — wireless or analog — to wake from standby.

Smart power management automatically wakes it when it detects a signal on this port. The WiiM Home app remains usable for RoomFit™ calibration and 10-band EQ even in RCA-only use.

Does RoomFit™ calibration require an external microphone?

No. RoomFit™ uses the built-in microphone on your mobile device through the WiiM Home app to capture the acoustic sweep. The Sub Pro's processor generates the test tones, your phone measures the response from your listening position, and the app sends the calculated correction to the subwoofer. No dedicated microphone to purchase, and calibration can be re-run any time you rearrange the room.
