Precision engineering for exceptional performance
The Rega Planar 6 is a high-performance turntable designed to extract the finest details and musicality from your vinyl collection. Its ultra-light Tancast 8 polyurethane foam core plinth, paired with high-pressure laminate (HPL), delivers remarkable rigidity while minimizing unwanted resonance. A dual-layer float glass platter and the precision RB330 tonearm ensure smooth tracking and faithful reproduction of every note. Supplied with the Neo PSU, the Planar 6 offers electronic speed selection, advanced anti-vibration control, and fine speed adjustment for a precise listening experience.

RB330 precision tonearm
At the heart of the Planar 6 is the RB330 tonearm, engineered using the latest 3D CAD/CAM technology. Featuring a redesigned bearing housing and intelligently redistributed mass, it provides extreme stability with almost friction-free movement. The result is a tonearm capable of capturing more detail from your vinyl than ever before, with fewer points of resonance.

Ultra-light, high-rigidity plinth
The plinth combines the ultra-light Tancast 8 foam core with a rigid HPL laminate for maximum structural stability. Rega’s double brace technology reinforces the tonearm and hub pillars, further reducing unwanted vibration while keeping the mass low for optimal performance.

Motor and Neo PSU
The 24 V low-noise synchronous motor is hand-matched to the supplied Neo power supply, providing precise speed control and advanced anti-vibration performance. A custom drive pulley and EBLT Reference belt ensure smooth, consistent rotation of the dual-layer float glass platter.

Flexible cartridge options
The Planar 6 is supplied either without a cartridge, or with a factory-mounted Rega Nd5 (MM), Nd7 (MM), or Ania Pro (MC) cartridge, allowing you to select the model that best suits your listening preferences.
