More Consistent Room Measurement Than a Phone Mic

SVS Auto EQ runs on a phone's built-in microphone by default, but every phone uses a slightly different sensor. The SVS Auto EQ Mic is a dedicated measurement microphone: it captures the listening room's frequency response more consistently than the built-in mic in a phone. The gathered data lets the subwoofer's DSP apply equalization filters that better match what the room is actually doing, particularly in the low end.

Integrated Into the SVS Subwoofer Control App

The mic plugs straight into a phone or tablet and automatically takes over from the built-in sensor inside the SVS Subwoofer Control app's Auto EQ routine. Two adapters are included: USB-C for Android and newer iPhones, and MFi-certified Lightning for older iPhones. The app walks the measurement through step by step from the listening position, and the result is written straight to the SVS subwoofer.
